The year was 1911. Harry Julius Dahl I, while honeymooning with his wife Nellie in Niagara Falls, received a Western Union telegram. “Wow Nellie!” Harry proclaimed after ripping open the envelope. “We got it! We got it!” Ford Motor Company had officially appointed the A.H. Dahl General Store in Westby, WI as an agency to sell the Model T. This was the beginning to an automotive legacy that has lasted for 5 generations.
