The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now - to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn't.


  The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
 
  Family and Children's Center is a regional, private, not-for-profit agency that provides a continuum of services designed to strengthen families and promote individual well-being.


   Through generous, widespread public support and a collaborative team of exceptional staff and volunteers, OHF aspires to become the provider of choice for emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. Where there is a need they do not provide, OHF will partner with others for the benefit of military families.

   Steppin' Out in Pink is non-competitive a fund-raising 5-mile walk for all ages and abilities. The walk raises money to support breast cancer research at the Gundersen Lutheran Norma J. Vinger Center for Breast Care. The research conducted at Gundersen Lutheran will change the way breast cancer is treated both locally and nationally.
 

 

D.A.R.E.'s primary mission is to provide children with the information and skills they need to live drug and violence free lives.

 
  The G.R.E.A.T. Program is a school based, law enforcement officer to be instructed classroom curriculum. With prevention as its primary objective, the program is intended to be an immunization against delinquency, youth violence and gang membership.
 
  Habitat for Humanity International is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Through volunteer labor, and and monetary and material donations, Habitat and its homeowner families have built or rehabilitated more than 350,000 houses. A nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry, Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build together in partnership.

  The Great River Shakespeare Festival produces thoughtful, articulate, engaging productions of Shakespeare's plays, and contributes substantially to the cultural, social, and economic life of Winona, the Midwest, and the United States.
 
  The La Crosse County Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and making available for public education, the historical legacies of the Seven Rivers Region.
 
  The mission of the Gateway Area Council and Boy Scouts of America, is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

 

 Arc-La Crosse strives to be a major force in advocating and promoting self-determined quality of life opportunities for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

 
   The United Way's mission is to improve the quality of life in a specific region by assessing community needs, raising and distributing resources to respond to those needs, and by providing leadership to solve community problems.
 
   The Pump House Regional Arts Center hosts visual arts exhibits throughout the year; plus its own series of jazz, folk, and blues performers.
 
   The Symphony's mission is to provide excellent symphonic music, pleasure the public in the tri-state region, educate people of all ages in the symphonic repertoire and tradition, and encourage student and professional musicians to develop and share their musical talents and skills.
   The United Fund for the Arts and Humanities enhances the cultural life of the
area by encouraging and providing opportunity for businesses to invest in programs of local arts and humanities organizations in an efficient and effective way. 
 
  The Jazz Fest offers great music, food and beverages, jam sessions and jazz liturgies on Sunday, in historic downtown La Crosse.
 
  

The Western Technical College Foundation exists to support, promote, and facilitate the activities of Western Technical College.

   The UWL Foundation helps the University raise funds, then administers and disburses dollars to support programs, and activities and further the mission of the University.
 
  The Wisconsin Public Televisions mission is to boldly enrich, educate and entertain diverse audiences of children and adults through the innovative use of: television production, broadcasting, other communication technologies, and community outreach. Wisconsin Public Television provides access to local and national content, extending its reach and impact in the communities they serve.
 
 

Once the La Crosse Community Foundation was established on July 21, 1930, its endowment has awarded over $16 million in total scholarships and grants.

 
   The mission of the Blue Stars is to provide members with educational and performance opportunities in the area of performance arts to help them to develop life skills.
 
   The Myrick Hixon Eco Park achieves community understanding and respect for nature. In addition, it protects the environment for future generations  
 
 
Coulee Council on Addictions provides confidential assistance, information, education and services to people of all ages dealing with substance abuse and other addictions.
 
 
   The La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business organization whose purpose is to create & improve the business climate and regional economy, resulting in an even greater place to live, work, and do business.
 
   Freedom Fest is part of an extraordinary fund raising effort to build a truly remarkable Hall of Honor. The Hall of Honor is located on the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus.
 
   Motivated by the love of God, as a leader in Christian faith-based human services, the Salvation Army is committed to serving the whole person, body, mind and spirit with integrity and respect, using creative solutions to positively transform lives.
 
   Human powered Trails, Inc is a non-profit organization whose mission is: "to develop and maintain first class sustainable and environmentally correct, human-powered, shared-use trails for the La Crosse  region."

   The La Crosse Community Theatre has been a La Crosse tradition since 1963 producing seven shows during the September through June season. Shows include dramas, comedies and children's performances.
 
 

The La Crosse Logan Alumni Association promotes the ongoing development of Logan High School and its students. With the help of alumni, staff, and friends of Logan, the association supports Logan High School as it enters the 21st Century.

 
  The mission of Winona State University is to educate and enlighten our citizenry at a distinctive institution: a community of learners improving our world.
 
  BloodCenter of Wisconsin advances patient care by delivering life-saving solutions grounded in unparalleled medical and scientific expertise.
 
  Mississippi Valley Conservancy (MVC) is a regional, non-profit land trust based in La Crosse that has permanently conserved more than 11,700 acres of blufflands, prairies, wetlands, and streams in southwestern Wisconsin since its founding in 1997.
 
  The Franciscan Skemp Auxiliary is a volunteer organization which supports FSH through fund raising, service and educational projects.
 
  The Boys and Girls Club inspires and empowers all young people, especially those in need. The goal of the Boys and Girls Club is for children to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
